I worked for a few years in another African country. Where we were is hilly and the ground rich in quartz. Someone donated tractors etc to help till the ground. Even if there was fuel available and the vehicles could get to the places needed, the plough blades were quickly blunted. The tractors soon broke down anyway and, without spare parts or anyone to mend them soon rusted away. The people went back to using the slow but effective traditional hoes.

You simply can't reason with greedy, self-serving leaders. They're in every country. They will most likely pocket the money and spit on their citizens. If you add up what we have sent Africa for decades, it would probably be in the Trillions. The people there are still very poor, and the African leaders are very rich. There is no stopping it, but we can stop sending them more of our tax dollars. That isn't going to happen, either. Just like we can't stop democrats with their constant lying. I feel good thinking God is going to get them all in the end.
