Denmark SUSPENDS covid vaccination program
After removing all restrictions, Denmark is now also suspending it’s mass vaccination campaign.
From the 15th of May, Denmark will no longer send out invites for people to get vaccinated against covid. People will still be able to get vaccinated, but they will have to make appointments themselves.
This comes after Denmark now says the epidemic is under control and that the country is in a good position.
It has now gone almost 3 months since Denmark removed all restrictions, including use of face masks and covid passports.
”We are in a good place. Spring has arrived and we have good control over the epidemic, which is looking like it’s diminishing” says Bolette Søborg, director at the health authorities in Denmark.
”Hospitalizations are stable, and we expect also that they will soon fall. Therefore we are winding down the mass vaccination program against covid-19” she adds.
How many people are vaccinated in Denmark?
So far, 82.5% of the population is fully vaccinated when Denmark announces they will be suspending the program.
How about infection rates?
In my last article, we looked at the infection rates in Sweden and saw that since they removed all restrictions, there has been a 98% drop in infections. There was less testing, but the death rate was also down. Make sure to read that article on my Substack for all the information.
But let’s have a look at Denmark and see how it has been going there.
On the 1st of February when Denmark removed all restrictions, there was a seven day average covid infection rate of 7 450. On the 26th of April, that same number has dropped to 267. That means the confirmed cases are down by 96% in 3 months.
Now, as with Sweden, the testing is also down a lot in Denmark, look at this graph here.
What about the death rate in Denmark?
It is also down, but not as much as in Sweden however. The seven day average death rate in Denmark is down by 28% since the restrictions were removed, see the graph below.
As you can see, deaths actually increased for a while in Denmark after restrictions were removed, but has since fallen and is now lower than what it was on the 1st of February.
The program may return in the autumn…
However, it is not certain that the program has been ended for good, as Denmark says it could be started up again in the autumn.
”We plan to open the vaccination program again in the autumn. Before that there will be a thorough professional consideration about who and when vaccination will take place, and with which vaccines” said Søborg.
Conclusions…
So the infection rate has collapsed in Denmark along with a large drop in testing. The death rate in Denmark is also down by quite a lot and Denmark now says the situation is under control and that they are suspending the mass vaccination program, for now.
This is only 3 months after Denmark become one of the first countries to remove all restrictions.
Remember when they told us we needed draconian covid passports?
Well, looks like everything is going just fine in covid passport free Denmark and Sweden…

so, is it now safe to go to the doctors with a genuine illness and expect the required treatment, rather than doctors pushing for the jab and nothing else 24/7 for 18 months
